He was a businessman and his business was situated in Saidpur the then under the sub division of Nilphamari and district of Rangpur. When Nasir Uddin was one years old then the family shifted to Saidpur where his father's business was situated. That is why his boyhood was passed in Saidpur Kazihat area and friends circle was almost all native Urdu speaking boys and girls. Biography of Nasir Uddin Bogura
From right Nasir Uddin his Mother,
Md.Nazrul Islam in his mother's lap
 and Md.Iqbal Hossain
Nasir Uddin slowly began to grow up in his grandmother's house. When he was twelve or thirteen, the situation in the country was turbulent. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman delivered his historic speech on 7 March 1971. It was broadcast on radio and television. Nasir Uddin's mind also sounded the trumpet of the war of liberation. Finally, on March 25, the Pakistani army attacked the Bengali nation like a ferocious hyena. Nasir Uddin's great-uncle and other two uncles and his elder uncle MD Abdus Sattar's son brother MD Aminur Rahman all wrote their names in the freedom fighter's book but Nasir Uddin could not write his name due to his young age. But he did not back down. He kept in touch with them. Supply of freedom fighters, news began to transact. After nine long months of bloody war, the country became independent.

Nasir Uddin went to the meeting place of all the freedom fighters on 16th December 1971 at Sirajganj BA College ground to perform victory procession. On that day, thousands of freedom fighters gathered at the college grounds with all their weapons. As the day wore on, Bangabandhu returned to the country and asked the freedom fighters to surrender their arms. At his word, the people started submitting arms to the nearest police station. At that time Indian army was present in the country. Bangabandhu asked the then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to withdraw her troops. The Indian Prime Minister immediately asked the troops in his country to leave Bangladesh. They left the country slowly. It was a landmark step of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Nowhere in the history of the world do we see this rare incident of the then Indian Prime Minister withdrawing his troops from Bangladesh following the call of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Russia has been occupying Afghanistan for years, aiding the Shah's government. After the Russians left, the Americans occupied Afghanistan and for years have been occupying the country in the name of helping the government of that country. The U.S. government and its allies invaded Iraq on the pretext of possessing weapons of mass destruction and occupied the country year after year, forming a puppet government in that country. So Bangladesh means Bangabandhu and Bangabandhu means Bangladesh. He wanted to build a golden Bengal with his soul. Today, his daughter Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is realizing his dream.

Nasir Uddin graduated from Sirajganj Victoria High School in 1974 with distinction. And then he moved to his ancestral home in Saidpur. He went to Saidpur College to get admission in Commerce Department. But then permission was not given to open Commerce Department in Saidpur College. So he was forced to enroll in Nilphamari College. At that time there was only one way to travel from Saidpur to Nilphamari. That is the railway. So he started traveling to Nilphamari College by train every day. But due to the difficulty of travel, he started searching for Saidpur College again and again. Since when was the Commerce Department started in Saidpur College? Finally, after six months, permission was granted to open a Commerce Department at Saidpur College. At the same time Nasir Uddin and some of his friends were admitted to Saidpur College with transfer letter from Nilphamari Government College. But they were already registered at Nilphamari Government College. So when it was time for HSC examination, the registration papers came in the name of Nilphamari Government College.

Such as Roll-Nil number: 778 But the Examination center was Saidpur College. At that time it was difficult to malpractice in exams. However, it cannot be said that the some of the students did not do it. Some have even been expelled.

After the test was over, he had time on his hands so he started spending time with his father's grocery store to help his father. His father sometimes goes to other district village fair to sell readymade furniture's.

One day his father was out of the town in the mean time Nasir Uddin and his Immediate younger brother Iqbal Hossain went to Saidpur Cantonment to join in the Bangladesh Army Engineering corp. The then only Eight pass Students can apply for the post. Both brother's stands in a que for selection. One by one test goes on and both of them selected for the post only Medical test was waiting. In the mean time Nasir Uddin's father came home and heard that his both of the son's went to the Cantonment to join the Armed forces of Bangladesh. He was angry and than and than he has gone to the Saidpur Cantonment and went to the recruiting officer and requested to send his son's with him and he does not like they joined the Bangladesh Army. The recruiting Officer called two of them and asked are they you two son's? Nasir Uddin's father said "Yes Sir". Recruiting officer requested that please at least one son can join the Bangladesh Armed forces because this corps is "Army Engineering Corps" this is a very good job. Nasir Uddin's father decided to leave younger son Iqbal Hossain in the Bangladesh Armed forces. And Nasir Uddin's younger brother started working in Bangladesh Army.

After three months, the results of the examination were finally published. His father did not know the roll number of Nasir Uddin. He went to the shops in the city to buy goods and heard that the results of HSC examination has been published today. So he went to Saidpur College with great interest to know the result of the boy. But he did not know the roll number of the boy so he saw that only three people had passed the test. One is Second Division and two are Third Division. He somehow managed to write the roll number three on a piece of paper with his own hand. Needless to say, there were only fifteen candidates including Nasir Uddin. And his father did not know how to read. Nasir Uddin's father is often proud to say that his education is that he had just passed Class One and was admitted to Class Two.
